Mastering is serious business

Music is still an art form and I'm passionate about it just as you are. I'm determined to make name and fame with delivering quality work. Achievements include international releases and a top 10 result in the american dance chart top 100.
Most mastering jobs being done here are dance related music but also folk music, blues, jazz, hip-hop/R&B, singer-songwriter, industrial/heavy metal.

No fancy stuff

Actually the name serious mastering is chosen a joke in itself. It comes from the fact that tons of people think mastering engineers are some kind of wizards. They are just people like everyone else, except for their exciting job.

A joke? You're not serious?

Yes I am. But mastering is not about inflated egos or mysterious voodoo rituals in a holy chambers using sacred equipment with prices of small or even bigger cars. It's about getting the best possible sound for your production.
And I'm serious when it comes to handling your material since your commercial and artistic future might depend on it. I'm not trying to get the loudest sound because that loudness war is totally getting out of hand and it's wrecking the music industry.

You can e-mail or phone me and we can get things going. You tell me what you want done and send me the tracks by post, e-mail, FTP or Internet sharing. You'll get a honest evaluation of the tracks and an indication on how long it will take to have it ready. It's impossible to have it done yesterday but I know being as fast as possible is important. But even then it's quality first. It even is possible to attend a mastering session but then it usually takes a bit longer.

Mastering course/cursus

Getting your mix sound the best way you can might be a challenge. Quite a lot of people think that with audio mastering you can improve this. This is true but only to some extend. The biggest impact on the end result would be your endmix and how to get this finished so a mastering engineer can take it from there.
